Taunton accountancy courses bring traditional classroom day-release learning to Levels 3 and 4
September 2026 sees Accountancy Learning introduce traditional classroom day-release teaching at the Albermarle Centre in Taunton, giving apprentices and other learners another way to study with us. New Level 3 and Level 4 cohorts are starting this month, alongside our existing flexible Tuesday 1:1 tutor-supported sessions.
More choice for learners in Taunton
We know there isn’t one way of learning that works for everyone.
Some learners enjoy the flexibility and individual support of our existing 1:1 sessions. Others prefer being part of a regular classroom, learning alongside people working towards the same qualification.
From September, we’re able to offer both in Taunton.
Our new classroom teaching day-release courses will include:
- Mondays – Level 4: new cohort starting 14 September
- Wednesdays – Level 3: existing cohort recommencing 16 September
- Thursdays – Level 3: new cohort starting 17 September
The classroom day-release courses are available to both apprentices and non-funded students, opening up the option to a wider range of learners.
Prefer something a little more flexible?
Our existing Tuesday 1:1 tutor-supported sessions aren’t going anywhere.
These continue to operate on a roll-on-roll-off basis for Levels 2, 3 and 4, meaning learners can start throughout the year rather than having to wait for a new classroom cohort. They can also progress at a pace that suits them, sitting exams when they’re ready rather than necessarily at the same time as everyone else.
For anyone who would eventually like to join the classroom environment but needs to begin at Level 2, the Tuesday sessions can also provide a route towards joining the classroom day-release classes at Level 3.
A new Level 4 cohort for September
Our new Monday Level 4 cohort will cover Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Principles of Taxation, Audit and Internal Controls and Advanced Business Awareness, alongside Apprenticeship Assessment Preparation. The programme will run on a rolling basis, allowing learners to enrol at the beginning of individual units.
So, whether you prefer the structure and company of a traditional classroom or the flexibility of individual tutor support, there are now more ways to study accountancy with us in Taunton.
