How long does it take to complete an apprenticeship?

Whilst it can vary from apprentice to apprentice, typically we would expect each accounting apprenticeship level to be completed in the following timeframes:

 

  • L2: 8 – 13 months 
  • L3: 12 – 18 months, depending on whether it has been agreed to add the two Level 2 bookkeeping units to the start of the Level 3 
  • L4: 12 – 18 months 
  • L7: 36 – 42 months
