Throughout June, the team at Accountancy Learning took part in Dementia UK’s 10,000 Steps a Day Challenge, swapping desks for daily walks, coastal paths, half marathons and even laser tag, all in support of an incredible cause.
Together, more than 20 colleagues walked hundreds of thousands of steps and raised an impressive £1,664 for Dementia UK, helping the charity continue its vital work supporting families affected by dementia. Find our more – Home – Dementia UK
A special congratulations goes to AAT Tutor Pete Freeman, who topped both the fundraising and step count leaderboards. Pete raised an outstanding £1,197 and completed an incredible 540,000 steps during June, many of them while exploring the Greek Islands.
The challenge also saw Victoria complete a half marathon, Carl enjoy walks along the beautiful South West Coast Path, and the whole team add to their totals during a fun-filled team-building day that included a very energetic game of laser tag.
The challenge wasn’t just about reaching 10,000 steps each day. It was about coming together as a team, supporting one another, raising awareness of dementia, and making a positive difference for a charity that provides invaluable support to families across the UK.
