Having enjoyed the finance and accounting modules of my Business Studies degree I began working in finance roles in industry, working across the public sector and within small companies and charities. Whilst working at the University of Bath I began studying AAT in 2012 via evening classes. After completing Level 4 I continued working in finance roles for the next few years, as an accounting technician and as a finance manager.
I have always considered teaching as a possible career path and on discovering Accountancy Learning realised that I could combine both interests to help and support students with their studies.
I have 2 young children and since our move back to Plymouth we are enjoying exploring the nearby beaches and Dartmoor.
