Apprenticeship Training in the South West

Accountancy Apprenticeship Training

Accounting apprenticeship training in Plymouth, Taunton, Falmouth & Exeter

Did you know, that as well as our approved AAT assessment and exam centre in Exeter, we also provide classroom training for our apprentices in Plymouth, Taunton and Falmouth? In fact, our Plymouth and Taunton centres are approved AAT exam centres as well!

It seems that some firms across the South West assumed we only ran courses and exams out of our Exeter office, so we’d like to set the record straight!

Local drop-in sessions and exam centres

For several years we have provided student drop-in sessions at our apprenticeship training venues in Plymouth, Taunton, Falmouth and of course Exeter. Whilst the COVID-19 pandemic has meant we have been unable to run these sessions face to face, our students have been able to keep up to date with their studies by having regular online support from their tutors using Microsoft Teams. The plan is, subject to government guidance at the time, that face to face tutor supported drop in sessions will start again from the beginning of September across ALL our training venues.

In addition to the drop-in sessions, our apprenticeship training venues in Exeter, Plymouth and Taunton are AAT approved exam centres, not just for Accountancy Learning students, but for external candidates as well. Our aim is to make it as easy as possible to be able to study for an AAT accounting and bookkeeping qualification in the south west. Students no longer have to spend onerous amounts of time travelling to access the very best in accounting training support. By using Accountancy Learning this is now available within an hour’s drive of most student’s homes or their workplace, plus there is additional online support available as and when required.

Details of our four apprenticeship training centres can be found at the bottom of this article.

By having four different apprenticeship training sites across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset, we can offer our students the best possible support on an ongoing basis. This is one of the reasons why our students attain AAT exam pass rates which are much higher than the national average.

Helping you recruit and train the best talent

Our Talent Programme helps employers to access pre-screened accounting applicants, who have already shown an aptitude for bookkeeping and the right attitude for studying and working hard. Furthermore, we do not charge employers or students for this ‘matching’ service. Our aim is to provide the best quality candidates to employers who will give them the best possible study and career opportunities. In return, we would like to provide their AAT and/or ACA training for them during the early parts of their careers. Again, if this is of interest, do call us on 01392 244071 or email [email protected].
