MAAT

AAT Tutor

I was born in London but grew up in Bath so have always had a love for the Westcountry. Before working for Accountancy Learning, I worked in high-end retail and restaurant management. In 2015 I had a serious accident and during my recovery, I started on my AAT studies. I’ve ploughed through levels 2 and 3, and have just completed my AAT Professional (Level 4) Diploma in Accounting. It’s a great team here in Exeter and I’m really enjoying putting some input into the course materials from a student’s perspective.

In my spare time, I really enjoy cooking (anything from traditional English to obscure cuisines such as Georgian food) and travelling the world. I’m also a very keen walker and cyclist – or at least I was before my accident! In the meantime, I’m enjoying short strolls and have found the moors and coastline of Devon ideal. I’m also a big fan of cats!

My Motto:

“When faced with obstacles, do not give up. Persevere and you can achieve almost anything.”
