ACCA

AAT Tutor

“I accidentally fell into accountancy after my A-levels. Starting at Francis Clark, I began studying with Accountancy Plus Training (what Accountancy Learning used to be called) in 2007. After gaining my AAT and ATT with A Plus, I went on to study ACCA at Reed Business School, qualifying in 2014.

After six years in practice and nearly two years in industry, I’d had enough and quit everything to go travelling. After seven months and seventeen countries, I met my partner in China, where I settled for three years before moving back to the UK (with her!).

Now I find myself back where it all began and hopefully helping to start the journey of many others!

I’m a big fan of sport; my favourite sport to play is tennis in the summer months.  I also play cricket, badminton and football together with other sports occasionally.  I am a keen runner and have a personal best half marathon time of 1:51. In 2012 I completed The National Three Peaks Challenge in a time of 23:07 with a group from Francis Clark.  I am a reader and I read a book every week or two.  I am also a fan of music and look to go to concerts and festivals whenever this is possible.

My Motto:

You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.
