Growing up, I was encouraged to get into bookkeeping, but this didn’t seem very exciting at the time and even downright boring! Later down the line, I was running a family business together with my father, so learning how to do bookkeeping started to seem more interesting. I have always had an interest in finance and business, so I started to do some research and figured accountancy is for me.
When I came across Accountancy Learning, I was impressed by their many AAT awards and the friendly team. Distance learning felt a bit daunting but Shannon has been a great help in guiding me with tricky topics and supporting me to keep going in my studies. I greatly appreciate having her as a tutor when she gives me feedback and pinpoints my mistakes so I can learn from them.
I have completed level 2 in Accounting and started on level 3. During my studies, I have gotten even more passionate about finance and planning on progressing further into becoming a chartered accountant. My only regret, of course, is that I didn’t start learning Accountancy sooner.
