The process for hiring an apprentice can have additional steps compared to hiring any other employee. You will need to:
- Confirm which level of accounting apprenticeship will meet the needs of your organisation and the role the apprentice will be taking
- Research and agree on which training provider you intend to use.
- Identify what funding, if any, is available to help with apprenticeship employment and training costs.
- Advertise the accounting apprenticeship role(s) on the Apprenticeship Service website.
