After about 20 years in hospitality, I decided it was time for a career change into Accountancy. I have always enjoyed the financial management and reporting aspects of previous roles, and love problem solving and helping others grow. Job hunting in the middle of a pandemic may not have been the best idea, and with few training roles around, I decided to get started with the help of Accountancy Learning, and my tutor, Ian. I really enjoy the learning style, being able to set my own pace, and the learning materials on Moodle have been fantastic. I am hoping to finish Level 2 with Distinction and looking forward to continuing on with Level 3.
