I have been teaching AAT for many years at a FE College and have experience of face to face teaching, online coaching and creating resources. I am passionate about using education as a means of helping people to gain fulfilment in their working and personal lives and believe that the learning process should go well beyond just the course content.

As well as AAT, I have taught a range of Business and IT courses both at FE level and in a secondary school. Prior to this, I worked for different businesses in finance and more general management roles and also ran my own retail business for several years. This experience has shown me that many people do not have a good understanding of finance and make bad decisions about their business due to lack of knowledge, so learning is vital for success.

In my spare time I like listening to all types of music and sing in two choirs. I enjoy cooking, yoga, Pilates and walking along the coastal paths near our home in beautiful South Devon with our lively cockerpoo, Mabel. I have recently taken up golf but progress is slow! I have a grown-up son who lives in Cornwall so not too far to visit.
