With over 35 years of experience in the financial services sector across the UK, I have cultivated a diverse skill set through various roles, with a significant focus on business development and building enduring partnerships over the past 20 years.
My career journey includes a notable tenure of 13 years within the corporate and commercial team at Santander, where I worked closely with key stakeholders to foster long-term relationships within the business community. This period was instrumental in honing my ability to synergize with diverse teams and driving mutual growth.
In the last 5 years, I have transitioned to the wealth management sector, where I have managed several firms under the umbrella of Fairstone. My primary focus has been on generating new business opportunities and establishing professional connections that contribute to sustained success and client satisfaction.
Beyond my professional endeavours, I have been an active member of the South West community for many years. My commitment to giving back is reflected in my past role as a trustee for the Devon Air Ambulance and my current position as a trustee for Animals in Distress, based in Ipplepen. These roles have allowed me to support causes close to my heart and contribute positively to the community.
In summary, my career is marked by a dedication to fostering relationships, driving business growth, and contributing to the well-being of the community, all underpinned by a wealth of experience in the financial services industry.
I am very excited about joining Accountancy Learning and making headway into a full schedule of events/contact programme over the coming weeks.
