I started my early career as an employability coach, offering Careers Advice to adults. This path enabled me to study to become a qualified Careers Advisor and I worked for the National Careers Service, specialising in professional CV writing and Careers Advice. This background has given me a wide range of knowledge, enabling me to work on a variety of government-funded contracts and confidently offer advice and guidance to help others make decisions on learning, training and work. I am a geek when it comes to funding and compliance so I am constantly reminding others of these procedures (politely of course).
I have always been a huge advocate for apprenticeships and making the most out of yourself as an individual, even if this means completely retraining from scratch. I enjoy offering advice and guidance or coaching to both learners and staff and supporting them through their journey!
I have lived in Devon all of my life, I like to travel whether its abroad or just new places in the UK (as long as it isn’t too cold) I am known to wear coats in July and a blanket in the office!
My Motto:
“You are the life you accept for yourself”
