I was employed by an industry-based firm in the financial department while I completed my AAT studies. I made the decision to share my knowledge and expertise with others after I was completely qualified. I therefore enrolled at Huddersfield University to complete a Certificate in Education in order to qualify as a teacher.
Since 2007, I have been active in apprenticeship training and teaching the AAT qualification. I have had a variety of positions, from student support to leadership and management. I work hard to support students in realising their aspirations of becoming accountants, and I enjoy pushing and challenging students to reach their greatest potential.
I live in Leeds, which is situated in West Yorkshire in the North of England. In my spare time I love to sing and front a local 5 piece – alternative indie rock band. When I am not on stage, I love to cook and enjoy socialising with friends and family.
